Abstract This study focuses on the effect of pre-eclampsia among pregnant women attending antenatal in Sango Ota primary health center.\. A proper research was carried out to ascertain the prevalence of pre-eclampsia among pregnant women attending antenatal in Sango Ota primary health center, to determine the occurrence of the symptoms of pre-eclampsia among pregnant women attending antenatal in Sango Ota primary health center, to find out the perception of pregnant women on the prevention of pre-eclampsia during pregnancy, to examine the prevalence of the known risk factors of pre-eclampsia among pregnant women attending antenatal in Sango Ota primary health center, to know the perception of pregnant women attending antenatal in Sango Ota primary health center on the effects of pre-eclampsia among pregnant women. In carrying out the research, research questions are been set in order to direct the researcher in administration of questionnaires. There is also review of relevant literature on related topics to the study. Questionnaires which was the instrument used was given to 40 pregnant women attending antenatal in Sango Ota primary health center by the researcher. The result obtained from the questionnaire was analyzed and conclusion was derived from the analyzed result.
